Acquiring a touristic experience for people with disabilities often requires serious preparation. Thorough information about the real or perceived accessible experiences offered by each attraction. A possible new challenge will come on the spot. Safe transportation and real experience require a strong concentration from disabled people, if accessibility has not been solved in the facility chosen for recreation.

In order to reduce their burdens and achieve real rest, it is important that those working in tourism learn about the peculiarities and special needs that arise during travel and recreation of people with disabilities, and that we offer people with disabilities platforms that provide real and constantly updated information for them about what services they will be able to use in the given destination.

I-DEST simultaneously helps reception area preparation by providing a complex internal accessibility audit, and helps people with disabilities easily find appropriate services.

During the development of the accessibility audit, we not only looked at the international barrier-free trademark programs, but also talked to the staff and managers of the civil organizations that bring together people with disabilities. We have also incorporated the expectations they set into the program, so the system now provides an internal audit for those registered, which clearly points out how they can meet the challenges of equal opportunities.

I-DEST is fully accessible in accordance with international standards.
